The Mute nominated for the play of the year!

The Mute premiered in March this year at the Stavanger Symphony Hall. The Mute is the result of a collaboration between Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Janove Ottesen and Christian Eriksen. Initiated in 2015, The Mute is a 70-minute long symphonic, silent theatre, detailing a love story told through music alone, with no words spoken throughout the entire piece, a first of its kind ever.

It got nominated for the Norwegian Theatrical Award “Heddaprisen” for “Play of The Year” and “Best Costume/Scenographics”.
